Sonar Air is a technical evidence research and candidate discovery platform for recruiters. We help recruiting teams research public technical evidence and discover additional technical profiles through GitHub, open-source work, and the places where developers build and contribute. It complements the existing recruiting stack and does not make hiring decisions.

We started in 2025 after talking to agency owners and recruiters who kept hitting the same wall: specialist platform engineers rarely show up on job boards, and many profiles online are stale or misleading.

Today we serve recruitment agencies and in-house hiring teams who need evidence-backed shortlists for technical roles.

We want to make it normal for recruiters to search where developers actually work - real code, real contributions, real problems solved - instead of guessing from a résumé written years ago.

For developers, we want to cut the noise. Only hear from people about roles that match your skills. The best people in tech solve problems publicly, but that work rarely connects to how hiring happens today.

We're a small team shipping carefully, listening to early users, and learning every day. We don't have all the answers yet - but we know the problem is real, and we know it can be better.
